Maxine Lucille Pingley Goldizen, 82, a resident of Huntington, passed from this life Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Maxine was born Saturday, February 27, 1932 at home in Adolph, a daughter of the late Howard George Wegman and Odie Marie McCauley Wegman. She married Eston John Goldizen who preceded her in death in 1985. Left to cherish Maxines memory are six children, Patsy Pingley Rush and husband Ronald of Mill Creek, David Pingley and wife Gina of Ashland, KY, Linda Adams and husband Eddie of Huntington, Ralph Pingley and wife Mary of Beverly, Debbie Dement and Lloyd Taylor both of Proctorville, OH, Misty Goldizen Williams and husband Todd of Huntington, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, soon to be four, four sisters, Carolyn Fortney of Elkins, Jean Shifflett and husband Donald of Bayard, Nadine Moore and husband Jack of Winchester, VA, Shirley Weasenforth of Beverly, one brother, Jimmy Wegman and wife Shelly of Elkins, several nieces and nephews, close friend, Arnold Gibson of Myrtle Beach, SC and several other close friends that she acquired over the years. Preceding Maxine in death besides her parents and husband was one brother, Donald Wegman and one great granddaughter, Tiffany Cadle. Maxine enjoyed playing bingo, dice, and cards with friends. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family. Family was the most important part of her life. Maxine was a child of Christ. A visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home on Saturday from 5P until 8P. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 1:00P. Pastor Mike House will officiate and interment will follow in Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville. The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements for Maxine Lucille Pingley Goldizen with Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio assisting with local arrangements.
