Virginia Murdock, 92, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at home. She was born November 14, 1921 in Chesapeake, Ohio daughter of the late Stanley and Genevieve Robertson Smoot. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dennis M. Murdock. She was a member of Rome Church of Christ. She is survived by one son Tom (Barbara) Murdock of Chesapeake, Ohio; one daughter Elma Denise Murdock of Chesapeake, Ohio; and one grandson Mike Murdock of Chesapeake, Ohio. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday October 12, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Minister Brad Poe. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
