Dorcas Mae Shull, 63, of Salt Rock, WV., resting until the day of the Lord, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, WV, by Rev. Danny Ross and Rev. Robert Hatfield. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery. She was born November 27, 1950 in Salt Rock, a daughter of the late William and Essie Baker Thompson. She was a member of Madison United Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Harold Shull; one daughter and son-in-law, Alisha and Kert Gill of Huntington; one son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Melissa Shull of Salt Rock; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Larry Beckett of Salt Rock; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Boyce and Charlotte Thompson and Linzy and Dreama Thompson, all of Salt Rock; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Erma and Carl Maynard of South Point, OH; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Stevie and Judy Shull and Kenny and Tammy Shull, all of Milton; two grandchildren, Brandon Shull and Luke Gill; mother-in-law, Hazel Jenkins of Milton; and several nieces and nephews. Dorcas was a special Nana to Quayden Keith. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. So sorry to hear of Dorces's passing. I met Dorces when I worked at WVDHHR and she was a foster parent. She was one of the nicest and so kind. I always enjoyed our visits. My prayers are with the family.
