Lonnie Menzo Wymer Click for Condolences      Printable Version
1939 - 2014

Lonnie Menzo WymerLonnie Menzo Wymer age 75 of Fenwick on the cool and blustery day of October 17th 2014 went to heaven to be with his soul mate and wife of 52 years: Janet Wymer, his parents; Oliver and Ilah, his brother Roger, and his sister Yvonne.

He is survived by his beloved sister Joanne.

Lonnie and Janets two sons; Marc and Michael, and their wives Maria and Arcy, grieve deeply at losing him. His five grandchildren Abigail, Ben, Ryan, Marc Enzo and Janet as well as his three step-grandchildren Clarence, Casandra and Cody will miss his love and guidance. His great grandson Caden will severely miss his grandpa and his two granddaughters Peyton and Nevaeh will miss getting to know him in person, but will know what a wonderful man their grandpa was. He is also survived by his in-laws Norm and Carole Pelch and family, and Dean and Joanne Chamberlain and family, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as countless friends and loved ones who will miss him dearly.

Lonnie was born in Edmore in 1939, grew up in Lake George, graduated from Farwell High School in 1957 and married his lifelong sweetheart Janet in 1962. He was an army veteran and retired from Electrolux in 1999.Having grieved the loss of Janet in 2009, he has now lost his battle with cancer.

He was a devoted family man who enjoyed sharing his love of classic cars and hunting with his sons. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play and grow. Above all he reveled in the joy he gave Janet when he took her dancing. We are sure he is now in heaven dancing, with her cradled in his arms. We will all miss him beyond belief but rejoice he is now reunited with his one and only love.

It is always sad to hear about yet another cousin passing away. And yet - knowing that he has been reunited with Janet, Aunt Ilah & Uncle Menzo, Roger and Yvonne does help. Rest in peace Lonnie . . . . . and keep dancing!
