William "Bill" Howard Huggins Click for Condolences      Printable Version
1955 - 2014

William Bill Huggins passed away on October 29, 2014. He was born August 28, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas and had lived in Silsbee for 12 years.

Bill was an avid member of the Silsbee Volunteer Fire Department and Pinecrest Baptist Church. He had also served in the Video Ministry with First Baptist Church in Silsbee. Bill faithfully served in a motorcycle ministry through Bikers for Christ and Faith Riders.

Bill is survived by his wife Jami Huggins of Silsbee; daughter Kaitlyn Garrett and her husband David of Okinawa, Japan; sons Jason McDonald and his wife Miranda of Livingston, David Smith and his wife Heather of Batson and Will Huggins of Silsbee; mother Mary Lou Huggins of Lumberton; brother Paul Huggins of Lumberton; grandsons Trevor Smith and Micah McDonald and nephews Gerod Huggins and Gable Huggins.

He is preceeded by his father Reverend William Howard Huggins.

Services for Bill will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Pinecrest Baptist Church in Silsbee with burial following at R. S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday at Pinecrest Baptist Church.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Silsbee Volunteer Fire Department or Pinecrest Baptist Church.

Will I am so sorry for your loss , I never really knew your dad but as you did many days on the school bus talk about your dad and you Ifelt iI knew him I know this is going to be hard for you and your mom but just hold to your faith. Mrs Elizondo

You are in my prayers daily. I know how much Bill meant to many people, not least of whom are The Master's Men. He was an exemplar of service to his fellow believers as well as to his community.
