Nancy, Summer, and Amber, Sorry I didn't make it to visitation, but I wanted to tell you how sorry we were to hear that Rodger had passed...A lot of good memories from the band days. Two outstanding memories were when we painted that bus purple with house paint and a roller.Tommy Estep ended up with that bus and the paint was still on it several years later. Another was when Lisas baton slipped out of her hands at Buffalo, Rodger picked it up and put it in his mouth and was saying, Lisas baton came flying down the field about 30 yards and landed in his mouth, being silly like he always was..My family will praying for all of you...

Rodger was truly one of a kind. I never heard anyone have anything bad to say about him. He welcomed me into his home and treated me as if I was his own. I can think of so many good times it seems silly to try and list them. Two that stick out vividly are the time he had me call Monty's and order a pizza in a British accent and the time Amber's dr. called me Sharon- @ which point that became my name. I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much he loved and was loved. I wish I didn't live so far away so that I could say this in person. Your family will always have a special place in my heart and despite the passing years and the distance it has created, I love you Amber, Summer, & Nancy and am sending you prayers and love for the days to come.

Dear Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Roger was such a good man. I know how much he loved his family. He didn't have to tell me with words. I could tell by his actions how much he loved each one of you. He always made me smile. I have only good memories of him. Love and Prayers Shawnda
