I'm a second cousin on Ricky's father's side. I haven't seen him since I spent a summer with Velma & John. They were stationed at Fort Dix, New Jersey at that time. I remember him as the cutest little boy. I would like to express my deepest sympathy to his wife and children and to Velma & John. God bless you. Mickey Vazquez

Life takes us many places and on many adventures. Each has its own perils and risks. We remember the past events with fondness and the riskier the adventure the better the stories told. This last adventure was difficult and long. It will breifly remind us of our own fate. But the truly remembered adventures and stories told before this last one will be the memories of success and good times of a life cut so very short.
