Funeral service for Helen Faye Collier, 85, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Monday November 17, 2014 at First Baptist Church Silsbee with interment following at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday at Farmer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Collier passed away November 14, 2014 at her residence.

She was born August 14, 1929 in Merryville, La. and a longtime resident of Silsbee.

Mrs. Collier is preceded in death by her parents Abraham Lincoln and Bessie Lee Goins Padgett; husband Joe Robert JR Collier; sister Betty Jo Padgett and a grandson Michael Collier.

Survivors include sons Padgett Collier and wife Teri of Silsbee, and Mike Collier and wife Renee of Silsbee; grandchildren Crystal Yellott, Christi Anderson, Elizabeth Franks, Stephanie Pyle, Cypress Collier, Jamie Johnnie, Kendall Johnnie and David Smith; twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Helen Faye was a friend of our family for too many years to even count...I remember her when I was a very young girl. She was one of the sweetest and most down to earth people I have known. Silsbee has lost one of it's best!! My prayers for her family.

Mike, Padgett and family, my heart broke to hear the news of your loss. Aunt Helen Faye was very loved by all who knew her. She touched many lives with her kindness, sweet smile and infectious laugh. She has certainly earned her wings and will be greatly missed. She was truly one of a kind and no act can follow.

Our deepest sympathy!!! Silsbee lost a wonderful lady and Heaven gained a beautiful Angel ! Helen Fay was a joy and loved life. We had many many good times. She will be missed by all!!!

Padgett So sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother. She was beautiful inside and out and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. I will miss my hugs and our little talks. Padgett and Mike, I will never forget the days on Dainwood. We grew up together and one of my favorite people was definitely you sweet mother, Helen Faye.
