D. H. Don Nickles, 63, of Raceland, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 22, 2014 following an extended illness.
Mr. Nickles was born November 21, 1951 in Ashland, Kentucky a son of the late Delza Nickles Sr. and Margie Hamilton Nickles Stewart.
He was a graduate of Fairview High School and attended Ashland Community and Technical College in the Welding and Carpentry program.
He was a retired maintenance mechanic with Kentucky Power. Louisa, KY
a United States Navy and Naval Reserve Veteran and served on board the USS Bronson during the Vietnam Conflict
A member of the Raceland First Baptist Church and attended the Greenup First Baptist Church
A member of the Northeastern Fish and Game Association and the KYOVA Archery
Club. Don loved spending time outdoors fishing and hunting.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by
his brother Delza June Nickles Jr.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East, Greenup County, KY by Dr. Tom Melvin. Military rites will be performed by Marine Corp Greenbo Detachment # 1345
