Joyce M Fulks Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1936 - 2014 Joyce M. Fulks, 78, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV. Joyce was born January 24, 1936 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Gilbert Watson and Lena Baker Watson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Jack Fulks. She is survived by one son Michael Fulks and his wife Sharon; one daughter Karla Stevens; five grandchildren Chris, Lauren and Jenna Fulks, Rebecca and Andy Stevens; one brother-in-law Don Fulks; one niece Alice Fulks; and one nephew Matthew Fulks. She was a proud 1956 graduate of the University of Kentucky. She worked many years as a registered nurse at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She also worked for Drs. John Stone, Stephen Feaster and Maria Suarez. Joyce was the family nurse and a brilliant differential diagnostician for sixty years. Joyce truly loved her Chesapeake Christian Church Family. She will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Mike Hannon. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Mike and Karla so sorry for the loss of your mom. Your mom was such a special lady. She was always so kind to everyone and such a good Christian. We are really going to miss her presence in the Christian church.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the Fulks family in your great loss. Both Jack and Joyce were such faithful members to the Christian Church at Chesapeake and we remember both of them with love.
