Sammons Jr. 1961 -2014 Ennis Edward Sammons Jr., 53, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. Mr. Sammons was born June 22, 1961 in Annapolis, Maryland a son of the late Ennis Sammons Sr. and Shirley Ann Anderson Stewart of Baltimore, Maryland. He loved music and sports. He is survived by 1 daughter Brittany Nicole Sammons South Shore, KY 2 sisters Barbara (Thomas) Cataraso Wurtland, KY Phyllis Sammons South Shore, KY Visitation will be Friday, November 28, 2014 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup. Dear Sammons Family: I am so sorry to have read of your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be of great comfort. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our loved ones as well as do away wtih all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will comfort your family also.
