My heart was filled with sadness when I opened the paper tonight to see my old friend Bill had passed away. I lived beside Bill at 6 Ellen St. & we grew up playing football, basketball and baseball in the old football field. We used to climb over the fence and play all day. Bill, J.P Thomson, Iggy Mac Cumbers and others. I know I will see Him again when the redeemed in Christ shall gather on the other side. My heart goes out to you and you are in our prayers.

I attended Richwood High School with Bill. A fine young man and as an adult he had such a positive influence on so many young people. He never forgot us here in Richwood and came home when his schedule allowed. He never changed over the years, always a gentleman. Thoughts & prayers for the family.

Bill was a great friend of mine since grade school. He was my center at Richwood High School when I was quarterback. We also played football together at Glenville. Last time we got to visit was at the 1958 50year celebration at Glenville State College. Will drove him there. We had lots of great times through the years. He was a good athlete and friend and I know how much his family will miss him. So sorry for your loss. Jim and Marilyn Marsh
