Rita Lou Bowen, 74, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. She was born February 8, 1940 in Chesapeake, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Doris Bone Singer; two sons Danny and Aaron Bowen; two brothers Jacob and Dwight Singer; and one sister Naomi Buchanan. She is survived by two daughters Kimberly Bowen and Kelly Bowen; one son Kevin Bowen; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters Iva Willis and Mary Neal; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Jeff Black. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the funeral home.
