Frances E. Kipp Burcham, 71, of Chesapeake, Ohio was called to Heaven on Sunday, December 14, 2014 after a brave battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Edward L. Burcham of 52 years; daughters Karen Rigney and her husband Roger of Scottown, Ohio, Brenda Glass and her husband Ted of McLouth, KS and Lori Henson also of Chesapeake, Ohio; loving grandmother to LaKiesa, Sean, Megan, Britney, Katie and Aaron; loving sister to Robert Kipp of Chespeake, Ohio, Paul Kipp of Huntington, WV, Richard Kipp of Chesapeake, Ohio, Larry Kipp of Proctorville, Ohio, Michael Kipp of Proctorville, Ohio, Carrol McMaster of Chesapeake, Ohio, Linda Ferris of Chesapeake, Ohio, Sadie Pruitt of Scottown, Ohio, Rosemary Mays of Proctorville, Ohio, Dorthy Ward of Chesapeake, Ohio, and Sheila Kipp of Scottown, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving friends, family members who will be reunited with her again one day. She was originally from Scottown, Ohio, Frances was born to William, Sr. and Lennie Kipp on September 12, 1943 and was one of 15 children. She was a member of Church of Christ in Chesapeake, Ohio but also attended McKinley Chapel Church with family members. She enjoyed visiting nursing home residents, singing hymns, growing flowers of every kind and sharing her love of flowers with others. She had a special calling for providing care to others which she selflessly dedicated much of her life. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her brother William Bill Kipp, Jr.; two sisters Janet Dennison and Barbara Scarberry; and a very special friend Jean Adams. Funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Minister Larry Burcham officiating and delivering her eulogy. She will be laid to rest at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the funeral home. The family expresses heartfelt gratitude for the loving care provided to Frances, by Hospice of Huntington, Inc. and niece Dolly Julian. Brenda, Karen and Lori, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I worked with her at Corbin Ltd for years and she was the sweetest, nicest, prettiest and most humble person one could ever meet. I saw her this summer at the doctors office. I know she is now at peace and no longer has to suffer. She was one in a million. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. RIP Francis

My deepest sympathy & condolences to the Burcham & Kipp families. I 1st met Francis when I lived next door to her. She was very sweet & kind lady. She always welcomed me in her home.Sheloved my baby,Bryan. She was fantastic with him.Also, Lori, I want to say Im sorry to read about your mom.
