 Gloria J. Walters Jeffers, 53, of Proctorville, Ohio went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 3:15 p.m. in Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV after a long battle with cancer. Gloria was born August 6, 1961 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Reece Walters and Dorothy Dement Walters. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her father-in-law Dale Henry Jeffers and her mother-in-law Edna Jeffers; and brother-in-law Mark Jeffers. Gloria is survived by her husband Bobby A. Jeffers of 33 years; one son Bobby Dale Jeffers; one daughter Sarah J. Jeffers both of Proctorville, Ohio; two brothers William Walters of Proctorville, Ohio and Kenny (Donna) Walters of Gallipolis, Ohio; two sisters Bonnie (Rick) Sibley of Gallipolis, Ohio and Ruth (Raymond) Ellis of Chesapeake, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Gloria attended New Beginnings Worship Center in Chesapeake, Ohio. She was dearly loved and will be dearly missed by all who have known her. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Tom Jones and Pastor Tom Jones, Jr. She will be laid to rest in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall. |

Gloria was a student of mine at Fairland High School. She was a very fine young lady. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I read the obituary at the time. I regret not being able to attend the funeral or visitation.

Such an awesome lady who never let her faith dwindle thru her long battle..always had a beautiful testimony, smile and encouraging word as she told of the love she had for her family..Dear Friend, you will be missed but I know you would not come back to this cruel world now even if you could as you are rejoicing in the streets of Heaven with no more pain, awaiting the day you will be reunited with your family..
