Carl E. Leffingwell, 69, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Friday January 9, 2015 at home. He was born April 13, 1945 in Huntington, WV to the late Fred and Geneva Leffingwell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Junior Leffingwell; and two sisters Margaret Sissy Black and Irene Lucas. He retired from Special Metals. Carl is survived by his wife Donna Singer Leffingwell; one son and daughter-in-law Shane and Ellen Leffingwell of Crown City, Ohio; three grandchildren Levi and Caleb Ritchie and Shayna Leffingwell; one sister Linda Neely of Proctorville; one brother Lloyd Leffingwell of Chesapeake, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday January 13, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Tom Jones. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday January 12, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home. Sorry to hear about Carl. We got into maintenance school together in Dec. 1972 at Burnaugh. Always had a great relationship with Carl enjoyed working with him. Last time that I saw Carl was at his retirement party at the plant. He was truly a wonderful person. May God bless you Donna,Shane and family. All of you will be in my prayers Curt Fitzpatrick
