Norma Skippy Grubb Irwin, 83, of Huntington, WV passed away Wednesday January 14, 2015 in Wyngate at Rivers Edge, Proctorville, Ohio. She was born August 21, 1931 in Huntington, WV to the late Harry Lee Casey and Alpha Grubb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Helen G. Lee. She was a 1949 graduate of Huntington High School and was former owner of Refrigerated Express. She is survived by three daughters Paula (Robert) Peters Driscoll of Mills River, NC, Roberta (Harold) Peters Rutt of Scottown, Ohio, and Diana Wright McComas of Proctorville, Ohio; five grandchildren Barclay Driscoll, Erin Driscoll, Dr. Lindy Driscoll Hall (John Mark),Dylan (Rachel) Rutt, and Casey Rutt; three great grandchildren Jessie Rutt, Jordan Hall, and Graham Hall; one sister Betty G. Norris of Roanoke, VA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday January 17, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Jay Love. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday January 17, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Skip and I grew up right across the street from one anotaher and went to school together all through grade, jr hi, and High School. I only learned of her death recently when I tried to telephone her. My sincere condolences. She will be missed
