Frederick Thomas Johnson, 67, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born December 23, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio son of the late Frederick E. and Janet Stone Johnson. He retired from VA Medical Center, Huntington, WV and was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran. He was a member of Guyandotte V.F.W. Post 9738, member of DAV #51, Chesapeake American Legion Post 640 and Moose Lodge Indian Lake, Ohio. He is survived by his wife Joyce Jackson Johnson; one sister Martha (Terry) Miller of Columbus, Ohio; one brother James J.J. (Ellie) Johnson of Columbus, Ohio; one nephew Timothy Miller of Columbus, Ohio; one niece Jamie (Ryan) McLimans of Stowe, Vermont; one grand nephew Dashiell McLimans of Stowe, Vermont; and three brothers-in-law Jimmy, Tom and Gary Jackson. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Dr. Pablo Gonzales. Entombment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 at the funeral home.
