Dear Kyle and family My heart is breaking. Bonnie was a close and great friend. We were just talking a couple of weeks ago about the good old days and how she wished she had kept the house next door so we could see each other every day. My prayers are with all of you. Love Nancy

What an amazing foster grandma and dear friend Bonnie was to me. She worked in my classroom for the past five years helping me by reading with my students and providing a listening ear to all the children. My students adored her! Bonnie's own grandchildren were the light of her life and she was so proud of their successes and of how well they were doing in school. They meant the world to her. Today was a very difficult day for the students at Walnut Hills as they will miss the kindness and love that she expressed to them daily. I will always be grateful to have known such a special lady and my thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy go out to Bonnie's family.

I am the music teacher at Walnut Hills, and Grandma Bonnie has been coming to music class with the kids for several years. The 3rd grade students came to music today pretty broken up about her passing. I told them....no worries. I think she's looking down on us and maybe we can do a great job today so she'll hear our voices. The kids had a fantastic class in honor of her. She'll be missed....but we laughed at the end, when I asked what Grandma would say about our line right now; the kids all said "straighten up"!
