1944 - 2015
Robert Lawrence Arntz, Jr., age 70 of Grand Rapids, formerly of Greenville, died late Monday, January 19, 2015 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital. He was born June 8, 1944 in Greenville, the son of Robert, Sr. and Margaret (Lyons) Arntz. Bob graduated from Greenville High School, class of 1962. He proudly served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by a son, Bill Arntz; and two sisters, Becky Black of Greenville and Betsy (Glenn) Irish of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews. No public services will be held, and private burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Langston. Memorial contributions in his memory may be given to Turk Lake United Methodist Church.

Bob and I first met in 6th grade at Satterlee School! He was always very quiet and friendly. My prayers for all of you are for peace and comfort knowing that he is no longer suffering. God bless you all.
