1931 - 2015
PATRICIA SUE GRAHAM, 83, of Lavalette, WV, passed away Wednesday January 28, 2015, after an extended illness. She was born July 1, 1931, in Huntington, WV, one of ten children of the late Grover & Nola (McCoy) Adkins. Patricia was a retired postmaster (Lavalette), and co-owner of Grahams Antiques (Huntington), where she always enjoyed meeting and talking with everyone. She is survived by her husband of 67 years Jack E. Graham, who was her loving caretaker and constant companion, and her children Jackie Hensley (Randy), Mark Graham, and Lisa Dandelet (Jim), her grandchildren Travis Hensley, Holly Simpkins, Lindsey Dandelet, Jason Dandelet, and Mackenzie Graham, her great grandchildren, Taylor Hensley and Jayce Dandelet, and special friends Bill Lewis, Chris Dunmore, & Betty Swann. She has 2 surviving sisters, Betty Mynes & Nancy Young, both of Huntington, and many special nieces and nephews. Patricia was a wonderful, caring, giving person with a zest for life. She instilled a love of family and tradition that will live on in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and friends. Sunday dinners were a must, and nothing could compare to Nanna Pats cooking. In Nanna & Grampys home, birthdays were celebrated, Christmas was magical, children were loved, and nothing was too hard for family. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Amy Marsteller for her kindness and care, and to the Hospice staff for their assistance & support. The family is planning a private service in celebration of Patricias life. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Patty was always good to me. As a little girl I remember the Sunday dinners. When I would stay all night at their house. I will miss you and the hugs around the neck.

I'm so sorry to hear of your mothers' passing. She was a great lady, friendly, caring to all she met. Another pillar that established Lavalette as the best place on earth to grow-up and live.
