Nettie Lee Hollyfield Patel, 78, beloved wife of Naresh 'Nick' Patel and daughter of Dora and Eugene Hollyfield, died January 28, 2015 at Christus St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 10 am, Monday, February 2, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home and she will be laid to rest in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 1 pm until 5 pm at the funeral home.
A native and lifelong resident of Silsbee, Nettie had worked as a trust officer for American National Bank and was co-owner of Deir's Drive In and Red Cloud RV Park for several years.
Mrs. Patel is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Elmer Hollyfield and Myrl Hollyfield; sisters Alma Smart, Gladys Cunningham, Mittie Richardson, Alta Gilmore and Myrtle Deir and husband Charles, who raised her.
Survivors include husband Naresh 'Nick' Patel of Silsbee and numerous nieces and nephews of her and Nick's, whom they loved as their own children.
