Funeral services for Robert Louis Buddy Willis, 80, of Honey Island will be 2:00 pm Friday, February 06, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Jordan Cemetery in Honey Island. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 pm until service time.
Mr. Willis passed away Tuesday February 3, 2015.
Robert was born in Evadale on November 15, 1934 and graduated from Splendora High School. He was a retired machinist after 39 years of service with Camco.
Mr. Willis is preceded in death by his parents John Hamp and Abbie Burrell Willis; brother Mike Willis; sisters Nelline Melancon and Helen Campbell.
Survivors include his wife Ottie Dell Barnett Willis; sons Robert Eugene Willis of Pasadena and Kevin Louis Willis of Houston; daughters Donna Cole of Porter and Susan Willis of Kountze; brother John David Willis and wife Alice of Evadale; sisters LaVerne Dobson of Barnwell, SC, and Imojean Herrington of Evadale; grandchildren Mac Cole and wife Astacia, Trevor Cole, Kelsie Willis and Chase Kellar; great grandchildren Isaiah, Staria, Simon and Braylynn.
