Funeral services for John Truman Sartor, 78, of Dam B will be 2:00 pm Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Sartor died February 4, 2015 at his residence.
A native of Ethelsville, AL, Mr. Sartor was a resident of this area for many years, living in Dam B for over nine years. He was a retired construction worker. John proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp.
Mr. Sartor is preceded in death by his parents, John William and Clemmie Pearl James Sartor; daughters, Vanessa Williams and Brenda Sartor; brother Billy Sartor and three grandchildren.
Survivors include daughter Teresa Peden and husband Bobby of Silsbee; sons Randy Sartor of Silsbee, John Sartor and wife Teresa of Nederland, Dewey Hoke of Vidor and Butch Biershbach of Lumberton MS; sisters Merline Cowart of Alabama, Joyce Dans of Buna and Carolyn Hoke of Vidor; twenty one grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren.
