Funeral services for Charles Leverne Gandy, 76, of Kountze will be 10:00 am Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the funeral home.
Mr. Gandy passed away February 8, 2015 at his residence.
Charles was a native of Honey Island and longtime resident of Kountze.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army, worked in construction and was retired from Austin Industries.
Mr. Gandy is preceded in death by his parents Buster and Hazel Jordan Gandy and wife Amy Clarece Spurlock Gandy.
Survivors include son Ricky Brewer of Kountze; daughters Barbara Malone and husband Billy of Kountze and Debra VanBrocklin and husband Roger of Lumberton; brother Don Gandy of Kountze; sisters Hazel and Helen; grandchildren Christy Crane and husband Chester and Ashley Olivier and husband Jonathan; great grandchildren Rylee and Charlei Olivier.
