A graveside service for Marlene Janice Hogren Riceman, 77, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Friday, February 13, 2015 at R S Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday at Farmer Funeral Home. Mrs. Riceman passed away at Harbor Hospice on February 9, 2015.
She was a native of Moline, IL and a longtime resident of Silsbee. Marlene worked for many years at Hardin Savings and Loan and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Silsbee. Since retiring, she enjoyed spending time with her family and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents Chester W and Ester Sundvall Hogren and sister Marilyn Hancock.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Robert Riceman of Silsbee; sons Mark Riceman of Erin TN and Brian Riceman of Silsbee; daughters Janice Marshall of Lumberton, Karen Riceman of Beaumont, Laura Powell of Lumberton and Linda Krueger of Vidor; brothers Marion Hogren and Marshall Hogren, both of Orion IL; sister Marsha Cox or Orion IL; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
