Hazel O'Connor Miller Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1926 - 2015 Hazel OConnor Miller, 88, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Wednesday February 11, 2015 at Rivers Bend Health Care, South Point, Ohio. She was born July 30, 1926 in Wheeling, WV to the late Carl Frederick and Etta Irene Richmond OConnor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Wilgus Miller. Hazel was a retired Dental Hygenist for Scott Moore and Roland Crockett. Hazel is survived by four daughters; Veronica Miller of Lexington, KY; Sarah Johnson of Proctorville, OH; Lauren Bowman of Proctorville, OH; Valerie McCombs of London, OH; one son, Michael Guy Miller of Proctorville, OH; eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; one brother, Richard P. OConnor of Fairmont, WV; and one nephew Richard OConnor of North Carolina. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rivers Bend Health Care Center in South Point, OH for their care. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH by Pastor Duane Smith. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be expressed at www.timeformemory.com/hall

I am so sorry to read in the paper that Aunt Hazel has died. Even though we lost touch personally, Vicky and Karen always shared news about the family. Vernocia was the flower girl in oour wedding 55 years ago. I always remember the fun we had at the farmhoue when I was a girl. Aunt Hazel was always glad to see us and I loved being with her.
