Please accept my deepest sympathy on Jim's passing. Jim and my mother Thelma June Wells Holmes were first cousins. We visited Jim and Erma Blake during the summer of 2005 and I have a picture of Jim, Erma, and my mother taken in Jim's front room at "the family homeplace". It was a treat for me so meet a few of the people and see places my grandmother(Mary Elizabeth Cooper Wells) spoke of.

Mona Lisa,Joy, and family I'm Dencil Knapp's daughter, Barbara. I just wanted to let you know how sorry we are for your loss. Dad passed away on May 13, 2014. It's hard to believe that they are both gone now. I took some nice pictures of Brud and Dencil when I took dad to see everyone the last time in summer 2013.

Mr Cooper was a very kind sweet man!! He could never remember my name but knew where I grew up so he called me Spurlock Creek. My heart breaks for his family but heaven gained a beautiful angel for sure! Glad to have known Mr Cooper

Today I am laying to rest my hero, my Daddy. This has been a really difficult time. I am so blessed to have been able to keep him 58 years. He has taught me so many things about farming, animals, gardening, people, and so much more. I am so thankful to have been able to care for him in his latter years, and will miss him so much. I love you Daddy!!!!
