Charles "Terry" Terrell Tucker, Sr. 74, was born November 27, 1940 in Liberty, Texas. He served in the United States Navy and was a Boilermaker and Operation Supervisor for Stacey Erection Company, an Operator of Local # 250, served on the Board of Directors for Integrity Home Care of Texas.
A longtime resident of Hemphill, he and his wife Carolyn Neely Tucker of 50 years moved to Lumberton in 2010.
He was a very loving, compassionate, honorable, and extraordinary husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Neely Tucker, three children; daughters Vickie Tucker White and husband Drew of Gravel Hill, Misty Tucker Sterling and husband Michael of Buna; son Charles (Brother) Terrell Tucker Jr. of Lumberton; brother Lester D. Tucker Jr. and wife Melba of Silsbee; eleven grandchildren Amanda, Terien, Kynan, Matthew, Tylor, Paige, Cade, Alexx, Allie, Alishia and Ashton; five great grandchildren Ryleigh, Rody, Aadan (Henry), Karma, and Brandon.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gussie and Lester Tucker Sr., and one nephew Lester D. Tucker III.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
