Uncle Jim will always be remembered as a favorite Uncle to his nieces and nephews. He and Aunt Evelyn always had an open home and heart for everyone. I have so many great memories of childhood and into my teens that came from being around them and Jimmy and Lenny and Jack. I remember hayrides, motorcycle riding, Sunday afternoon softball games, basketball, touch football and hikes in the woods. We had picnics, went camping and had bonfires. Church groups were important too and we had good times there. Every time we visited Uncle Jim and Aunt Evelyn over the years since, nothing was different. WE just continued our love of family and enjoyed our time together. It was heartbreaking for all of us to watch the illness progress and take from us all a really good person. He always had a funny joke to tell me and make me laugh. My way of coping with loss is often to write down my feelings and thoughts. I don't want to go on and on here. We are sorry that we cannot attend the services today. The ice and snow is still an issue for our travel. I want to be there anyway but will not be. Mom, Criss, Tom and Dennis all send their best as well. We all loved Uncle Jim and will miss him. We have so many great memories.
