Geraldine Faye Bowman, 88, of Huntington, WV passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center, Huntington, WV. She was born June 15, 1926 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Charles E. and Effie Belle Dunn Beckett. In addition to his parents she was preceded in death by her husband Homer Bowman and six siblings. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Sharon and John Bowen of Upper Arlington, Ohio; one son and daughter-in-law Homer and Geraldine Bowman of Glenwood, WV; two grandchildren Brian Bowman and Charles Cooper; one great granddaughter Cortney Cooper; three step-grandchildren Rodney, Chris and Jamie Dean; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 at Miller Cemetery, Miller, Ohio by Pastor Brady Lipscomb. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.
