Dolores Jean Hatfield, 74, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Wednesday February 25, 2015 at Wyngate at Rivers Edge, Proctorville, Ohio. She was born December 6, 1940 in Canton, Ohio to the late Angelo and Clotilda Alvarez Battista. She was also preceded in death by a brother Andrew Buster Battista. She retired from GTE Phone Company. She was a member of the Sweet Adeline, Red Hat Society, and Lawrence County Homemakers. She was a volunteer at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV. Dolores is survived by her husband Jackie D. Hatfield; three sons Matthew Smith of Hilliard, Ohio, Tracy (Angie) Hatfield of Buffalo, WV, and Jack D. (Vickie) Hatfield of Proctorville, Ohio; six grandchildren, Sara, Caleb, and Cole Hatfield, and Ryan Panknin, Zac Smith, and Cassidy Smith; one sister Patty Ellison of Proctorville; three nieces; and three nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 12 noon Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Ronnie Tyree. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Milton, WV. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the funeral home.
