James Cecil FergusonFuneral services for James C Ferguson, 79, of Evadale and formerly of Warren, will be 10:00 am Friday, February 27, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Ferguson passed away February 24, 2015 at his residence.

A native of Camp Eleven near Fred, James lived in Silsbee and Warren many years and had lived in Evadale for six years. He retired as yard supervisor from Santa Fe Railroad after many years of service. James loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his family.

Mr. Ferguson is preceded in death by his parents, Ike and Brownie Ferguson, first wife and mother of his children, Wilma Sue Nowlin Ferguson, sisters Nellie Bee Kibby and Helen Jewel Davis and brother Earl Ferguson.

Survivors include his wife of six years, Cherry Ann Moss Ferguson of Evadale; sons Kenneth Earl Ferguson and wife Tab of Fred and Rusty Moss and wife Lisa of Huntsville; daughters Wanda Davis and husband Scott Wilson of Woodville and Lana Hoke and husband Clyde of Evadale; niece Denise Marcontel and nephew Robert Ray Davis, both of Thicket; grandchildren Salina Bell, Lynn Ferguson, Ashton Davis, Tommy Davis, Jackie Whitmire, Keith Hoke, Jenn Arko and Russ Moss; sixteen great grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews and extended relatives.

Papa will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
