Jaunita Joyce Parsons, 80, of Johns Island, South Carolina, formerly of Barboursville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2015 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born June 21, 1934, in Barboursville, WV, a daughter of the late Ted and Marie Wentz Stewart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Gerald Parsons, son, William Gerald Parsons Jr. and son-in-law, Ronald Lee Vipperman. She is survived by her daughter, Nicki Vipperman; sister, Jessie Marie Hall; three grandchildren, Jodi Vipperman Wright, Heather Vipperman Scovel and Barry Scovel, Jeremy and Sharon Vipperman; three great-grandchildren, Hudson Wright, Taylor Scovel and Madison Wright; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Elmwood Baptist Church.
