He is survived by his wife of 50 years Florence; his daughter and son- in- law Debbi and Chad Blake of Chesapeake, Ohio; his son Randy Smith of Brevard County, FL; his grandkids Drew and Lindsay; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ronnie and Peggy Pinson of Proctorville, Ohio; his niece Penni and Scott McIntyre; his nephew Todd and Kristy Pinson; and his closest friends Eddie Heck, Jack Fry, Blair Haga and Dirk Plybon. He was the son of the late Luther and Ann Smith. He had a vast number of close family and friends. Jack retired from the CSX Locomotive shop in Huntington, WV. He will forever be a dedicated member of Crown City, Ohio Masonic Lodge #536 F & AM, where he served as Past Master. He was 32° Scottish Rite Mason Valley of Cincinnati and an El Hasa Shriner. Jack smith.... Well my thoughts run deep. Times in my life growing up the smith family, like it or not, served as friends, family, guidance counselors, parents, and showed love for a kid that needed love. I will always be in debt to the love That jack and flo showed me and the others that were lucky enough to know them. Thank you smith family. You helped create the man that I am and the people that I help now. Jack was not a good man. He was great!
