Mr. Visser was one of the few teachers that I remember from middle school. His smile, bow ties and the way he rocked all the time. He was a very good teacher and sounds like an amazing man outside of school. Prayers to his family.

My condolences to the Family and Friends of a Great Teacher. I too enjoyed Mr. Visser, and recall what an awesome Teacher he was. Loved his bowties, and thought about how he was the inspiration for Bill Nye! As a Middle School student, it was tough to really pay attention in class with all the social unrest at that age, but I remember I looked forward to walking into his classroom, and also his kind and gentle reminders to learn. I cannot recall a time when he was ever short or stern with anyone. Just a super nice Man. May he rest in peace.
