Oleta Merle Edgar Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1932 - 2015 Funeral services for Oleta Merle Edgar, 82, of Lumberton will be 10:00 am Saturday March 21, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Williams Cemetery in Warren. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday March 20, 2015 at the funeral home. Mrs. Edgar passed away March 18, 2015 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. She was born November 25, 1932, in Hicksbough/Warren, TX and had lived in Lumberton for more than fifty years. She operated her own beauty shop in her home for many years; she loved to cook and was a wonderful mother and homemaker. Mrs. Edgar is preceded in death by her parents James Barney and Delma Gardner Fountain; husband Tommy L. Edgar Sr.; and sister Becky Weber. Survivors include son Tommy Edgar Jr of Lumberton; daughter Cindy Caldwell and husband Gene of Buna; brother Gerald Fountain of Dam B; grandchildren Tommy Lynn Edgar III and wife Chrys, Jerusha Edgar, Josh Caldwell, Angie Aviki and husband Diaco; and five great grandchildren.

Mrs. Edgar was such a beautiful and sweet women. Always so kind to me when I was a little girl and a friend of her daughter Cindy. Dear Edgar family, my loving thoughts to you as you face this loss.
