Mr. Jackie Ray, 76, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015. A son of the late Elmer and Addie Marie Ray. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army as well as a Shriner and a 50 yr. Mason. He loved bluegrass music and was well known as a soundman. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Ramona Ray, and a son, Mark Ray, brothers Donald & Robert Ray, and sisters Linda Nixon and Ruby Beller. Survivors include his sons, John and Michael (Carol) Ray, and Paul (Sybil) Lockard, brothers Billy (Vangie) Ray and Johnny Floyd of Chesapeake, OH, grandchildren Alice Sunshine (Brandon) Walls, William (Rachel) Bowen, Chris Emery, Michael, and John Muncy, as well as several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
