Graveside services for James Ernest Simmons, 87, of Beaumont will be 11:30 am Friday, March 27. 2015 at R S Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Farmer Funeral Home.
Mr. Simmons died March 23, 2015 at his residence.
A native of London AR, he was a longtime resident of this area. James retired as credit manager from Coburn Supply and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in the US Army. He was a member of the Vidor VFW and was Post Quartermaster in the Silsbee VFW.
Mr. Simmons is preceded in death by his parents Luther and Nettie Isabelle Nordin Simmons; brothers Paul Simmons and Glen Simmons and sisters Lois Pullen and Reba Cude.
Survivors include his sons James Eugene Simmons of Beaumont and Donald Allen Simmons and wife Heather of Dallas; daughter Suzanne Seiley and husband Chad of Silsbee; sister Ruth Simmons of Webbers Falls OK; grandchildren Corey Simmons and wife Sarah of Lumberton, Brandi Miles and husband Patrick of Cape Coral FL, Daaron Simmons of Lumberton, Danelle Simmons of Lumberton and Kyle Seiley and wife Jordan of Beaumont . He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
