Funeral services for Mary Alice Bell Hicks, 73, of Fred will be 3:00 pm Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Baker Bell Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hicks passed away March 24, 2015 at her residence.
A native and lifelong resident of Fred, Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She had a sweet personality and was always happy and smiling. Mary was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, A V and Becky Callaway Bell;husbands Raymond Green, Kenneth Hicks; brothers Bill Bell, A V Bell Jr and Dizzy Dean and sisters Hautence Baker and Tennie Moore.
Survivors include step-sons John Hicks, Benjamin Hicks and wife Leah and William Hicks, all of Woodville; brothers Britton Bell of Blessing and Buddy Bell of Fred; sisters Ettie Garroutte of Nederland and Jeanette Rao of Alexander AR; two grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended relatives.
