Jerry  GrishamFuneral services for Jerry Grisham, 74, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Grisham passed away March 25, 2015 at Christus St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

A native and lifelong resident of Silsbee, Jerry was retired from Burlington Northern Santa Fe RR with 38 years of service. He was a member of the Church of Christ and Hardin County Wildlife Assn and proudly served his country in the US Navy. Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his son-in-law Mike and his grandchildren. He was a devoted family man.

Mr. Grisham is preceded in death by his parents Walter Dale Grisham Sr and Inez Floyd Rosser Grisham; siblings Walter Dale Grisham Jr, Wanda Louise Upshaw and Donald Lewis Grisham; and his grandparents, paternal Edgar Grisham Sr and Bessie Grisham and maternal William Rosser and Fannie Rosser.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Mary Alice Nesler Grisham; children Lisa Sumrall and husband Robert of Louisiana, Terri Morrison and husband Mike of Silsbee, and Cindy Krebs of Lake Jackson; grandchildren Jeffrey Shavers, Jennie McCauley, Justin Judalet, Matthew Morrison and Tyler Krebs; nine great grandchildren; brother Ronald Grisham of Silsbee and sisters Linda ODell of Silsbee and Pat Logan of Orange.

I'm very sorry to hear of Jerry's death. Jerry and I worked many years together at Silsbee with the Santa Fe Railroad. Jerry was always helpfull to me in my early years. Prayers to The Grisham Family.

To Linda and all of the family, I was a longtime friend of Jerry's, played Little League with him, went to school with him, and knew him only as a kind and gentle person. May God bless his soul, and know that he will be missed.
