Funeral services for Doris Mae “Dot” Brown, 90, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Friday, April 3, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown passed away April 1, 2015 at Silsbee Convalescent Nursing Center.
She was a native of Roby, Texas and a longtime resident of Silsbee. Dot was a retired warehouse clerk for Kirby Lumber Company.
Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Elva McCain Griffin; husband of 70 years Cyriel Brown; brothers Alfred Griffin and Buford Griffin; sister Maxine Kluting; son-in-laws Bill Owens and Ed Zatorski, and grandsons Josh and Alex Brown.
Survivors include son Paul Brown of Silsbee; daughters Dottie Ross of Buna, Connie Zatorski of Silsbee, and Penny Ferrell of Beaumont; sisters Della Lawlis of Roby and Pat Pyron of Hamlin; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
Dot will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
