Dorothy Marie Simmons Christian, 82 of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Heartland of Riverview, South Point, Ohio. She was born October 31, 1932 in Chesapeake, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Alberta Hamlin; two husbands, Dewey Simmons and Ivan Christian; one sister, Shirley Ann Hamlin; one brother, Forrest “Hobb” Hamlin. She is survived by her stepson Don (Connie) Christian; two brothers, Bernard (Jean) Hamlin and Ralph (Mary) Hamlin; sister-in-law, June Hamlin; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at Hall Funeral Home in Proctorville, Ohio 1pm Friday, April 10, 2015by Pastor Dale Barnett. Burial will follow in Getaway Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio.
