Mildred Irene SlavikFuneral services for Mildred Irene Schuler Slavik, 93, of Natchez, MS and formerly of Silsbee, will be 10:00 am April 18, 2015 at St. Mark's Catholic

Church in Silsbee with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm Friday, April 17, with a rosary recitation at6:00 pm at Farmer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Slavik passed away April 4, 2015 at Natchez Regional Medical Center.

A native and longtime resident of Silsbee, Mildred moved to Natchez in 2012. She was a graduate of Silsbee High School and retired from Entex after many years of service.

Mrs. Slavik is preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Schuler Sr. and Augusta Brandl Schuler; husband Elijah 'Nick' Slavik; sisters Lorida Schuler Rivet, and Elouise Schuler Poshataske, and brother John Henry Schuler Jr. Survivors include nieces Anelle Poshataske Waguespack (Perry) of Baton Rouge, LA, Jean Poshataske Goldman (Harry) of Waterproof, LA and Nancy Schuler Serio (Paul) of River Ridge, LA; nephews John E. Schuler (Eileen) of Scottsdale, AZ and Thomas H LaToof of De Kalb, TX; great nieces Karen Goldman McClendon, Lauren Serio, Alex Schuler and Laura LaToof Martinez; great nephews Chris Waguespack, Michael Waguespack, Jefferson Goldman, Thomas LaToof III, Christian 'Spud' LaToof, Nick LaToof,Christopher Michael Serio and Andrew Myles Serio. She is also survived by 8 great, great nieces and nephews, Eva Waguespack, Holden Waguespack, Jackson Carneal Goldman, Elizabeth Ramsay Goldman, Sawyer Myles Serio, Thomas LaToof IV, Theron Olivia LaToof, and Lyla Martinez.
