After a courageous battle with cancer, Heather Renee’ Parsons, 31, of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Lucasville, Ohio, went to join her heavenly father on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Heather was born January 16, 1984, in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was the youngest child of Jeffrey and Sharon Crabtree Mitchell Lucasville, Ohio.

Heather was a 2002 graduate of Northwest High School in Lucasville, and graduated from Shawnee State University in 2006 with a bachelor degree in arts and an associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting.

She formerly worked at Adena Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Chillicothe, Ohio and Brownsboro Hills Nursing Home in Louisville.

In her work as a physical therapist assistant at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, she was able to touch many lives, and she was celebrated by her colleagues and patients for her joie de vivre. In her family life, she was loved as an exceptional wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Cleve and Violet Crabtree.

In addition to her parents she leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 10 years, Brenton Parsons; and adored son, Dashiell Parsons.

Her paternal grandparents Fred and Easter Mitchell of Lucasville, Ohio; 2 brothers Brian, and his wife Lena; and Jason and his wife Kelley, and their children Davis and Carter all of Columbus, Ohio; and 1 sister Lori Crabtree and her husband Michael Crabtree and their children Ashley and Linden of Lucasville, Ohio.

One of the rare ones, a true beauty in form and spirit, Heather Parsons was loved by all who met her. She will be greatly and forever missed.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 25 at Pleasant Valley Community of Christ Church, 723 Sedan-Crabtree Rd., Lucasville, Ohio by Minister Doug Altman.

Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Saturday at the church.

There will also be a memorial service at 4:00 pm Sunday, April 26 at Forest Hills Community of Christ Church, 2401 Merriwood Dr., Louisville, KY by Pastor David Blair.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hosparus of Kentucky in Heather’s memory.
