Absolutely anytime I ever saw David he was smiling. I don't know for a fact, but I'm sure the last few years/months of this battle he may not have smiled a whole lot. Now he can smile, pain-free, in the arms of Jesus. So thankful to know that you knew Jesus.

Oh Annie! I am so sorry for your loss. I just found out today. I always loved Dave and he always brought a smile to my face because he was always in a good mood. I miss you and have often thought about you and Dave. I know he is in a better place now though. Still doesn't make it any easier. I love you and will pray for you for the strength to get through all this.

Annie and David Allen, even though we know what an empty space this is going to leave in your lives, please know that there is going to be an empty space for all of us that loved David! I will never forget when he was discharged from the hospital after his very first surgery, his very first stop was Sunday School. What a statement that made of his character, which was second to none, and his love for working for The Lord. He definitely leaves big shoes to fill and his presence at church will be felt greatly.

Our hearts are broken. Heaven gained a great man. He was devoted to family, God, and his community. He was one of the sweetest spirits we have ever known. Prayers of comfort for Anna and David.
