Funeral services for Shirley Hollyfield Sheffield 56, of Spurger will be 2:00 pm Friday May 15, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sheffield Family Cemetery in Spurger. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday May 14, 2015 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sheffield passed away at her residence May 11, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Kountze and was a longtime resident of Spurger.
Shirley was retired from Spurger ISD where she worked in food services.
She is preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Virgie Hollyfield, and brother David Hollyfield.
Survivors include her husband Garnett Sheffield of Spurger; son Tanner Sheffield and wife Olivia of Spurger; mother-in-law Verlee Sheffield of Spurger; brothers Gurney Hollyfield of Silsbee, and Barry Hollyfield of Spurger; sisters Sheila O’Quinn and Debra Wallis both of Silsbee; sisters-in-law Phyllis Rawls and Nedra Jenkins both of Spurger; and numerous nieces, nephews and grand dog Sadie. Shirley will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
