Glenda Glenn Gray of Silsbee passed away Tuesday, May, 12, 2015. Funeral services for Glenda Glenn Gray will be at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Silsbee on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be at Farmer’s Funeral Home Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 5-8 pm. Glenda was a native of Clute, Texas and a longtime resident of Silsbee, Texas. She was a beloved schoolteacher of 43 years at Evadale ISD and retired 3 years ago. She considered all of her students as her “kids” and she was very proud to have a chance meeting with each and every one. She was honored to be a part of their lives. She celebrated with and for them and she mourned with and for them. Her world revolved around her family and her family revolved around her. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by: Daughter, Wendy Gray and parents Morris and Mabel Glenn.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years Vernon Gray from Silsbee, daughter, Kelly Gray from Silsbee, daughter Kerry Koch and her husband Ernie Koch from Lumberton, son, Scott Gray and his wife Kristi from Silsbee, son, Kory Gray and his wife Elisha from Silsbee. Granddarlings Kassidy Lane, Meagan McNeely, Taylor Keel, Brianne Doyen, Zackory Gray, Derek Koch, Jessica Koch and Chance Koch. Great Granddarlings Bolton Bean, Braeson McNeely and Olivia Keel. Niece Mandy Gray and nephew Sam Gray. Evadale ISD students 1970-2012.
