1973 - 2015
"Clothed with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience" (Colossians 3:12), a man of integrity, Ernie C. Donahue, III returned to his heavenly home on May 17, 2015. Ernie was born to the late Ernie Donahue Jr. and Laura Donahue Bias of Culloden on June 20, 1973. He was a gentle soft spoken man who preferred to remain anonymous as he generously performed many acts of kindness for others. Ernie is survived by his mother Laura of Culloden; sisters Christanna Donahue of Culloden, Sabrina Donahue-Moore of Barboursville and Laura Rowsey of Culloden; Jayna and Ellie Fisher his nieces, for whom he was a surrogate father; Rosanne Reese his aunt and "nother" mother; loving family members include: Fred Bias, JT Rowsey, Jeff Moore his best friend, Jeremy Holbrook, Bill and Martha Conrad. A special thank you to Jackson, his special little buddy and Fay who always made him smile. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Dial Cemetery in Branchland, WV, with Pastor Troy Nicely officiating. The family gratefully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Church in the Valley Youth Department, P.O. Box 115, Milton, WV, 25541. Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Dear Laura and family, I am so sorry to learn of your son's illness and passing. It is one of the worst things that can happen to a parent. We lost Joe almost 6 years ago. It does get easier to bear as time passes, but it is so hard. The tears will come in waves for years. I am glad you have your faith to help you through this. My love, prayers, and thoughts are with you and yours. Hilberta

There are no words capable of expressing to you all my deepest condolences. Every phrase/word falls short. Laura you raised an amazing man full of kindness and gentleness. Heaven gained a soul truly worthy in every way. I am a better person having known him, and there are so many others who will feel the same. I love you Sabrina and know how blessed Ernie is to have a treasure for a sister like you (another product of your special mom). Prayers for Comfort, Peace, and Understanding during your time deepest grief, and thereafter.
Love always,
Suzanne
