Effie Garrett Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1946 - 2015 Funeral services for Effie S. Garrett, 69, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Friday, May 29, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will be from noon – 2:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Garrett passed away May 27, 2015 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. A native of Kountze, she was a longtime resident of Silsbee. Effie was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lee Garrett; her parents Melvin D. and Virgie May White Richards . Mrs. Garrett is survived by her son, Arlis Garrett & wife Christal of Village Mills; daughter, Mada Garrett of Silsbee; sisters Mary Jo Thrasher of Arkansas and Martha Adcock of Crowley LA; grandchild, Ethan Allen Garrett; & one great grandchild Ethan Allen Crawford Garrett, Jr. Mrs. Garrett was loved dearly and will be missed greatly by all who loved her.

Mada im so sorry for the loss of ur mom. She was a very sweet lady and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
